Lotto noob

I went to get a lottery ticket today. The prize right now is almost 600 MILLION pesos. That is just crazy money that I would probably spend on more toys and comics. And charity of course hehehe C'mon that money's just too much to even spend.

Anyway, after my nightshift I headed over to Rustan's Makati to get my ticket (probably to sosiest place to get a one). This thing though is I never ever bought a lotto ticket in my life. So while I was on line, I had to talk to the person behind me on how to get the damn thing. She was a lesbian so she/he was kinda talkative, which was cool since I needed info on this.

So, if any of you who doesn't know how to get one, here's how:

1. Cut the line and get a lottery form/card from the booth. Don't worry, people won't kill you.

2. Fill in your numbers, THEN line up. I was a dumbass to line before I got a form.

3. Show your form in the booth and pay the corresponding fee. I just got one ticket because I didn't know any other numbers I wanted. Luckily, the person behind me asked the people behind to let me cut the line and pay because I lined up without a form. Thank God I wasn't mauled to death.

4. Lastly, when you are given your ticket, DON'T FOLD IT. Which my new friend seriously warned me when she/he saw me on my way out. It gets invalid if your ticket is folded or torn, which is why most people fold their form over the ticket. Genius.

5. Go home and pray to God you win.

Thank God for nice people who help others out when they don't have an idea about something. I didn't get your name but long live whoever you are.

The numbers I chose were ones that mean a lot to me and Anj. So I hope those numbers do us good. Draw is later at 9pm.

C'mon ticket let's go!

Singapore and Indonesia

Both countries in one trip, I actually did not believe it until I was handing over my passport in Indonesian immigration. Awesome, I feel so much like a traveler experiencing life in other places in the world. Well, I've been to enough places to feel that way, plus I'm planning to go to Korea too before my birthday next year.Cool.

Reason for travel? Too meet with the GF. A good enough reason to go anywhere or do anything really. Love trumps everything else. Yep, It's manly to say that.

So I feel although it costs a hell lot to travel, it's kind of worth it. You experience a new environment, culture and actually a new world. It's one of those scary but exciting things to do. I've always thought my parents were lecturing me when they said travel as much as you can but it actually is true. In my book, worldly is cool.
Did i mention eating in another country is awesome too?
So I suggest have your passport beat up with all kinds of stamps from different places and enjoy. Worth ittt.

Rat battle

I was sleeping in the afternoon a while ago and heard some noise from my balcony door. I thought it was nothing, and when I opened the lights, boom.

There was a freaking rat in my room. Not a mouse. Rat. Big hairy rat.

It ran and hid into the pile of boxes near the balcony door.

I sealed my room and went downstairs to get help form my dad. He gave a new mousetrap he got from the hardware store. It had fish as bait (do rats eat fish?). I placed the trap in my room and made sure everything was sealed.

After eating a late dinner, I went up to my room again. No sounds. So I thought it was clear. And just like a good horror show, it wasn't.

While I was chatting with the GF, I heard sounds from the boxes near the balcony door and when I turned to look. It was there, death staring at me in the face. It was pretty big with bald patches. I didn't run this time since I was armed with my brother's cane and electric flyswatter. It ran back into the boxes.

After a while, it showed its face again and tried to make a run for it outside. Apparently, my balcony door has a small slit which it used to get in. It squeezed its way out and was hanging by the screen door. I turned the my girly scream into war shouts waving around with my double weapons. It got scared and ran out of my balcony and into the darkness it came from.

Just to be sure, I left the rat trap in my balcony to trap any furry invaders. This is war bastards.

Back then...

Things are going pretty well at work. The scope of my tasks are getting wider but not to the point of craziness like before. It's still relatively focused compared to what I used to do.

Just so you know, I was an all around guy for the company. recruitment, jobfairs, manager of IT and admin staff, project manager and all kinds of crap. It wasn't fun, and I think I tired myself out doing all of that. Still, I saw the fruit of my labors and saw how cool the company ended up.

Actually, I just remembered something someone told me. It was like I was a "personal assistant" that time. It was supposed to be funny but now that I think about it I'm kind of insulted by that comment.I kind of feel a mix of hatred and evil burning up in me. It's like the dark side in me growing to show and shut people up. This must be what a sith feels like.

Well, at least it's energy going towards getting stuff done. And when you get stuff done, you move forward.
